Your donations will help fund our new 16,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility complete with surgical suites, diagnostic suites, exam rooms, pharmacy, laboratory, adoption center, rooftop garden, and more. Together we can build this new home to provide the resources to make a greater impact on the welfare of animals, and the people who love them.
The one-of-a kind Community Pet Hospital and Adoption Center will be a full service, low-cost veterinary clinic to serve those in our community as well as a premiere adoption destination to help animals find the homes they deserve. There are many areas in Southwest and Central Virginia that have little access to low-cost vet care. By offering affordable, proactive wellness care and diagnosis, we can prevent more animals from being unnecessarily surrendered or abandoned at local animal shelters.
To provide quality care for each animal at our facility, the new center’s second and third floor will be devoted as the Adoption and Rehabilitation Center. This larger space will better accommodate the physical and emotional needs of the animals as they await their future home as well as expand Angels of Assisi’s capacity to offer outreach and educational programs. The space will also allow our rescue team to continue helping animals that are victims of hoarding and neglect cases, and provide them with the rehabilitation they need.
