Angels of Assisi received a grant from The Rachael Ray Foundation™ to support Angels of Assisi’s life saving work in the community. The Rachael Ray Foundation looks to make a difference in the lives of our animal friends, and Angels of Assisi falls in line with this mission by providing access to affordable veterinary care while also rescuing animals out of difficult situations and adopting them into loving homes.
The funds received from the grant will be used towards the $3.0 million capital campaign, Imagine. This campaign will replace the outdated 4,000 square foot Community Pet Clinic and Adoption Center with a new 16,000 square foot Pet Hospital and Adoption Center. The new facility will be located on the corner of Franklin Road and Elm Ave. The new state-of-the-art facility, complete with surgical suites, pharmacy, diagnostic suites, adoption center, and more, will allow Angels of Assisi to provide additional programs and services to better serve the people and pets in the community.
